this project was to modernize and create a movie poster for classic books. The assignment was to start with picking a classic book from Gutenberg website, there hundreds of books to choose from but I ultimately landed on Alice in Wonderland. Research started off with finding movie posters that were visually appealing and inspiration on how we wanted to do our design. I looked through behance, gathering different posters for my idea. After finding my inspiration, I start-ed sketching out the ideas on my procreate app. In my design process, I usually always have an idea of how Iwant the image to turn out. I learned how to properly create a movie poster whilst learning the proper typo-graphic techniques needed to ensure a visually harmonic piece.
